ERP stands for Enterprise Resource Planning maintaining the key functions of an organization or a company in one system or software. The basic purpose of ERP is to combine all the functions of an enterprise like finance, HR, Marketing, warehousing in one system instead of deploying them in number of standalone systems. Software used for this purpose contains the data of all departments in the form of sub modules. A key advantage of this software is that different departments can coordinate among themselves for the betterment of a company. The core functionalities of ERP includes an integrated system of financial services, placing information of customer order and storing the history of customer and his transactions, streamlining all the processes of manufacturing, leveling the HR standards, analyzing the information of productivity for employees and their benefits stored in one place, allowing the monitoring of a process among different departments, availability of limited and monitored information of the company to the users depending on their needs and allowing marketing and management department to analyze the needs of their clients and fulfill them according to their needs.
